I started playing piano at the age of seven - taking lessons from my mom, who is a private piano and vocal instructor. When I was in high school, I recieved awards and recognition as a vocal soloist. After high school, I attended Luther College on a music scholarship, studying music performance. During my time at Luther, I decided that I would rather write my own music than perform someone else's. So, I dropped out after one semester. From 2003 - 2006, I performed live shows at music venues throughout Iowa. I'm actively looking to book some gigs - so, contact me with any requests.
